Here’s one quote from Dr. Moore in this interview,

But, we recognize that the The Kingdom of God doesn’t come through politicians. And that politicians are politicians. So, we work with them, but we don’t embrace them as a Messiah. We don’t need a messiah. We already have One, & He’s feeling just fine.
