Hey Jared,
Took me a little while to find you…How are you doing? Shelley and I are in Guatemala getting ready to start our first church here. The teens from Trinity are coming down next month to help us get that rolling. I think about you a lot. Thankfully we don’t have a KJV down here, and there are no other missionaries here who would try to start that with our people. (believe it or not, I’ve met Guatemalan christians who have asked me about the KJV…how did they even hear about it?) Anyways, thought I would send you a quick note.
If you want to bring a team of youth down here, it would be great. We are in the jungle area of Guatemala where there are no other missionaries or churches. We have to learn an indigenous dialect (only 1 million people speak it with 900,000 unreached with the gospel from anybody that would have it). Let me know what you think.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Jimmy
Nice to see you in the blogosphere. May God bless your ministry and your studies!
Jared,
What a small cyber-world! I just happened to come across your blog while doing some research. Very impressive (not to mention depressing) for a young squirt like yourself
You probably don’t remember me, but I visited Union Fork when you had been there less than a year. We met for lunch at the little sandwich shop across from William and Sons Funeral Home. If you remember, I turned down your offer to join your staff (best decision? I don’t know).
Anyway, congratulations on your ministry success.
Anthony
Anthony, I remember. It’s good to hear from you. How are you doing? What ministry are you involved in today?
