About Me
My name is Jared Moore. I pastor in Hustonville, KY at New Salem Baptist Church. I am married to Amber Vaughn Moore, and am also 29 years of age. My two children are Caden Heath Moore (10/30/07) and Ava Leigh Moore (05/01/09).
I have an M.A.R. in Biblical Studies from Liberty Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. I am also currently studying for an M.Div. in Christian Ministry from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY; which should be finished in December of 2010.
I matriculate into the ThM program in Systematic Theology at Southern Seminary in the Spring of 2011. I am also waiting on a response from Highland Theological College in Scotland concerning their PhD program in Systematic Theology.
Concerning doctrinal and denominational affiliation; I am Reformed in theology and Southern Baptist through and through.

Hey Jared,
Took me a little while to find you…How are you doing? Shelley and I are in Guatemala getting ready to start our first church here. The teens from Trinity are coming down next month to help us get that rolling. I think about you a lot. Thankfully we don’t have a KJV down here, and there are no other missionaries here who would try to start that with our people. (believe it or not, I’ve met Guatemalan christians who have asked me about the KJV…how did they even hear about it?) Anyways, thought I would send you a quick note.
If you want to bring a team of youth down here, it would be great. We are in the jungle area of Guatemala where there are no other missionaries or churches. We have to learn an indigenous dialect (only 1 million people speak it with 900,000 unreached with the gospel from anybody that would have it). Let me know what you think.
