I’ve got 4 segments for you today in Episode 10 of The All Truth Is God’s Truth Program dealing with understanding God’s love and how we should love God and others as a result of understanding God’s love.
Segment 1
01:42 – “If You Want to Fully Appreciate God’s Love, You Must Learn to Equally Appreciate His Wrath.” If we do not understand God’s wrath, we do not understand His love. If God’s wrath offends us, then God’s holiness offends us.
Segment 2
09:42 – “Love, Jonathan Edwards, and Pistol Pete.” We’ll examine how “loving how much God loves you is not the same as loving God.”
Segment 3
14:47 – “Pragmatic Love: A warning to husbands and fathers.” Do we truly love our spouses and children, or do we only love them when they benefit us? True love is selfless.
Segment 4
20:15 – “Discernment without love is a clanging cymbal.” True discernment is loving not hateful; unloving discernment is not true discernment but a perversion of the Scriptural definition of discernment.
